"A 2017 McKenzie study found that about half of all work activities globally have the technological potential to be automated."

The new report concludes that from zero to one-third of work activities could be displaced by 2030. In the U.S., 39 to 70 million jobs could be destroyed, but about 20 million of those displaced workers can be shifted into similar occupations. That means that 16 to 54 million workers will need to be retrained for entirely new occupations.

That means that automation technology will have an even greater impact on credit departments that it already has.
